It’s Spring!

Who doesn’t love Spring? It’s a time of new beginnings, colour, refreshing, warmth, promise, hope and sunshine.

Spring adds new life and new joy to all that is.

There is indeed new life and new joy to be found in Spring. It’s a great time to shake off whatever extra baggage you inadvertently picked up through the year. It’s about letting go of stuff – because we know that stuff just weighs us down at the end of the day. Spring is also a really good time to clean, hence the popular idea of conducting a spring clean. It’s all about giving ourselves a fresh start, even though it’s not a new year just yet.

It’s about trying new things and saying yes to adventures. Spring is a wonderful time to travel because it’s not too hot and it’s not too cold (depending on where you go, of course). It’s also a nice time to try a different coffee shop, a different style or a different attitude. It’s a perfect time to stop and observe the beauty all around us, whether it’s evident in just this season or all throughout the year.

Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.
